Congratulations to
the Mary Hawkins Band, 2006 winners of the IBC !!!!
Thanks to all of you who attended
our first outdoor party. The feed back from many of you is a
resounding YES, let's do it outside again next year.
Special thanks to Octavia and the
Earthblood Blues Band who put on a great show. Also thanks to all
our board, staff and volunteers.

Sunday, June 4th 2006 - Please join the LVBN
at our 1st outdoor Blues Competition and Party at the Springtown Rod
& Gun Club from 2:00 - 8:30pm .... $5 for all at the door !!!
(gates open at 1:30pm)
The days format will be ....
2:00 - 3:00pm - a special Kids
Jam so we can get the families out in support.
3:30 - 5:45pm - Will be our Blues competition, featuring two
great women of the Blues (see below) !!!
6:00 - 8:30pm - Is a special open / invitational blues jam. All
are invited but we also hope to have some special guests come out
and play.
Food (burgers / hot dogs) &
Beverages (soft drinks) will be available at the club (coolers
allowed, please clean up after yourselves). There is plenty of
parking and the facility has a fully covered pavilion and a large
building incase of rain so the event is rain or shine unless it's a
real mess out there. (If it is raining, check back here on our

Directions to the Springtown Rob &
Gun Club:
Take Rt 78 to the
Bethlehem/Hellertown exit. That is Rt 412...at the light at the end
of the ramp turn left & go south through Hellertown and continue
through Leithsville until you come to a stop sign at a "T". Turn
left and continue on 412 about 1 mile to Springtown. In the middle
of town turn Right beside the gas station (the only gas station in
town), there's a small sign for the Gun Club. Drive about 1/4 mile
down the drive and the club is on the side hill.
