For 2008, The LVBN jam now has a new Jam home ....  Salisbury Fire Company, 1226 Marlow Street  Allentown, PA 18103  | 610-797-9921 |  6:30pm !!!    (Directions)

Our first jam of 2008 at the new location was a huge success, thanks to all who attended!!  I know there was a little confusion as to start time, food availability, etc ... so here's the facts.

• The Jam will start at 6:30 - 9:30pm. (house band will play approx. 30mins)

• Food is available for sale by the fire house.

• Jamers who sign up before 6:30pm and/or help set up may get to play twice.

• Jamers signed up after 8:15pm may not get to play if we run out of time.

• There will be guest, house-bands from time to time to run the jam as jam host. However, an LVBN board member will always be present and have the last word in a dispute.

• All equipment (amps, drums & PA) is provided, bring ONLY your instrument. Only exception will be for keyboard players and/or harp players.

In addition to the jam and music  - we intend to offer other music-related events to further entice jamers and listeners to attend. Examples would be a guitar or drum workshop, discussions of blues history and special jam sessions featuring your favorite local bands and artists.

Please tell all your friends about our NEW jam and don't forget to check our CALENDAR to see who is hosting on any given week. Please spread the word and come have some fun, we hope to see you soon !!!

We are looking for bands to host our Sunday Jam. This is a great way to promote up-coming shows and try new material. If your band is interested, please contact us.

All blues musicians are welcome to perform. If you can play a 12 bar blues progression, we'll hook you up with musicians to play with. If you're a more advanced player you'll find a good jam too. All kinds of pros and amateurs show up for this jam. PA, drum kit and all amps are supplied by us so all you need is your instrument.
